In May 2014 Yuvil Alejandra graduated from university with a BBA in Marketing and Finance. A month after graduation she enrolled in fashion school with the intention to pursue her dream to become a fashion designer. Two years afterwards, she accomplished this dream and had the opportunity to present my first collection at The Little Black Dress Gala.
Alejandra’s interest in fashion has been highly influenced by the fact that her family owned and managed a few clothing stores. Alejandra started getting involved in the business when she was at a young age. At the age of 15 Alejandra was attending trade shows, meeting suppliers and physically working at the stores either by receiving merchandise, doing inventories or selling to customers. Alejandra’s brand Chalett is inspired by the fashion lessons and business values that were passed on to her. Alejandra describes Chalett’ style as elegant, feminine and timeless.
